Dr. Peter Jaggard, Vice President of Medical Affairs

Dr. Peter Jaggard has spent the past 30 years serving as a physician, including the last six with Presbyterian Homes, starting as medical director at Lake Forest Place before moving to his current position. He has spoken on end-of-life issues at conferences and has also served as chief attending physician at Evanston Hospital. He earned his medical degree from New Jersey Medical School and also holds a master of arts degree in Christian Thought, with an emphasis on bioethics, from Trinity International University.


Bob Landsman, Vice President of Finance

Bob Landsman has spent the past eight years at Presbyterian Homes and has 45 years of experience working with health care and not-for-profit organizations. He spent three years as a lieutenant in the United States Army before spending the next 37 years as a partner at Ernst & Young, specializing in audit and financial consulting services to the health care and not-for-profit industries. Bob also spent 10 years at West Suburban Hospital, including one year as acting president and CEO. He earned a bachelor of science in commerce from DePaul University.


Lydia Torrese, Coordinator of Evaluation

Lydia Torrese has spent 26 years in senior services, including the last 19 with Presbyterian Homes. She has been a practicing RN since October 1974. Lydia has served as the clinical director of pulmonary rehabilitation at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago, and as an advanced practice nurse on the outpatient geriatric assessment and planning service at Rush Presbyterian St. Luke's Medical Center. She holds a master of science in nursing for preparation as a clinical nurse specialist and earned a bachelor of science in nursing from DePaul University.


Lisa Vandermark, Director of Memory Care

Lisa Vandermark is a licensed clinical social worker who has served at the Westminster Campus of Presbyterian Homes since 1996, providing case management, consultation, and supportive therapy to residents and family members. She was a member of Presbyterian Homes' Neurobehavioral Team from 2001-2005, providing follow-up treatment for campus residents in need of behavioral intervention. Lisa has been a presenter at several national conferences and an author of work published in trade journals. She graduated from Ball State University with a bachelor of science in finance and economics and earned a master of arts from the School of Social Service Administration, clinical track, at the University of Chicago.


Kathi Young, Administrator of Health Services

Kathi Young has served as a nurse for 40 years, including the last 34 at Presbyterian Homes in long-term care. She is administrator of the continuing care community of Ten Twenty Grove and King Home. Formerly, she was administrator of health services at Lake Forest Place. She earned an MBA from Olivet Nazarene University and also holds a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Alverno College and a diploma in nursing from St. Anne's Hospital School of Nursing in Chicago.
